SWIG Identity and Packaging

Salon/fashion innovator Teri Tito's new line of hair care products is called SWIG — cocktails for your hair. As a stylist, Teri is known for her custom hair care “cocktails” that were mixed specifically for her clients’ needs from all-natural ingredients. Thirst designed the brand and packaging for these products into a line that was distinctive to the marketplace, centered on design, and incredibly fun.

SWIG is currently in development to be sold only by discerning salons and retailers.

Inspired by mixology and the rich visual landscape of cocktail culture, the identity for SWIG references both the maraschino cherry and the angle of a drink as it touches the lips.

The form of the bottles matches the right hair type for each product: straight, curly, or wavy.

Brightly colored martini glasses form the Pro-tini shampoo line, emphasizing all-natural protein ingredients.

We even imagined a two pack of shampoo and conditioner, with a reusable band that can be worn as a fashion accessory showing your love for SWIG.

Brown wrap packaging references the brown paper bag.
