Thirst, led by Rick Valicenti, was commissioned to create a series of limited-edition boards for Character Skateboards, founded by Alan Butella.

Butella was once the student designer for Valicenti's guest lecturer poster at College for Creative Studies in Detroit. Since then, Alan has grown Character into Chicago’s longest standing skateboard brand, and invited Thirst's Valicenti and Zach Minnich to create a new limited edition of six unique designs.
